Pranayam
Pranayam –Movie Review
Blessy succeed in proving the depth of relationship through his new movie Pranayam starred by Mohanlal, Anupam Kher and Jayaprada in the lead roles. The movie revolves around the love bound between the characters of Mathews (Mathews), Grace (Jayaprada) and Achutha Menon (Anupam Kher). All the three characters had made a first-rate performance, this might be one amoung the best performance of lal in his career. Anup Menon plays the character of lal’s son Suresh has done a marvelous job to the end of the movie. The music by M Jayachandran and Cinematography by Satheesh are the other factors in the movie. The song Pattil ee Pattil was another highlight song of the movie. The other cast in the movie Aryan,Dhanya Mary, Apoorva Bose,Niveditha has done their job well.At the above the movie is good.
Rating 3.5/5
Reports from Sify
Pranayam is in an entirely different league, far above most films that we come across in Malayalam, but still it falls short of being a brilliant one. It has some fine moments, but you will need some patience to find those, in between!

The movie delivers very little of that old charm that we had adored in those Priyadarshan films of yore. The wobbly script is the proverbial camel here that has chucked out the entire film from under the shade onto the scorching desert.

Review by Rediff :Deiva Thirumagal has numbers that fit in, almost formulaic fashion, with the angst and emotion that's required of a movie like this.

Critic Reviews
Christian Brothers is a typical multi-starrer that is made with an eye at the box office with not much depth in the subject. But you still get entertained. Rediff 2.5/5.0
Christian Brothers is a loud and high voltage thriller, for which you don't have to use your brains much. It's absolutely a 'no logic-popcorn fun' and perhaps not meant to be taken too seriously. Sify Movies 4.0/5.0
Christian Brothers is a plain rework of the several family feud sagas that the script writers themselves have cooked up in the past. Its sole selling point is then the star power that it has, and the mammoth star cast should hopefully make its sailing almost smooth. Nowrunning 2.0/5.0
'Christian Brothers' is a definite prescription for all lovers of heavy masala fares of Mollywood. At the box-office, 'Christian Brothers' will have a good opening and may end up as 'more than a safer hit' in days to come Indiaglitz

Critic Reviews
It is a sensitive story for sure, but things could have looked more appealing if the makers had added some style to the presentation instead of following an old-fashioned pattern. - Sify 3.0/5.0
'Khaddama' is a compelling effort from Kamal, with some real convincing performances at its core. It speaks about some desperate choices to be made during despondent circumstances, and even then, never for a moment, loses hope. - Nowrunning 2.5/5.0
'Ghaddama' remains as a purposeful and powerful take on the lives of expatriates in the Arabian Gulf. Kamal has utilised all his experience to tell a real story of suffering with the intensity that is demanded by the script. - IndiaGlitz

Reviews
Makeup Man has nothing great to offer for the viewers. If your idea of entertainment is limited to those lines, well, it could turn out to be a watchable fare at best. Sify.com 3/5
Makeup Man will be a success for Jayaram considering the sub-standard films he has been associated with recently. There's also the much hyped cameos by Konchako Boban and Prithviraj playing themselves. And, the others in the ensemble cast like Jagathy Sreekumar and Salim Kumar doing their standard work will surely please the crowd. All in all, leave your brains at home and enjoy Makeup Man. Rediff 2.5/5
All in all, ‘Makeup Man’ will not be a loser, as in comedy films Mollywood audience has made it a habit not to look for much logic. With a tremendous first half , and an average second half , the movie may succeed to bring back the capital spend on it. - Indiaglitz (Average)
